About Sasha Pierce:

As a young child I had a deep knowing that there was something wrong with the way we lived on our planet. I went into the arts so that I could keep listening to my intuition and I have been blessed with a successful career as a visual artist. I also chose to embark on a healing journey due to the trama of being sensitive in a culture that is disconnected.

Shamanic healing, reiki, yoga, breathing and meditation have been important modalities on my healing path. In 2017 I completed a one year shamanic healing program and I am currently enrolled in a two year advanced apprenticeship in shamanic healing with Medicine Circle, Daniel Leonard. I also completed a Komyo Reiki Shoden with Qi Belly, Paul Lara, in 2016 and a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Octopus Garden Holistic Yoga Centre in 2019. I continue on my healing journey and I feel called to assist others on theirs.

"Shamanic Journeying has been around for a very long time; it predates organized religion. When you take a journey you are intentionally choosing to enter spirit worlds and visit the spirits where they live. Through your relationship with these compassionate, wise and healing spirit helpers and guides, they give you access to the wisdom, the power and the medicine that you seek." Sasha Pierce

Why Ritual/ Why Now?

As many of you know intuitively, our world has been going through a massive change in consciousness and awareness of self and the other. More and more people are finding themselves confronted with undealt aspects of their own psyche but also with our relationship to planet and to our own knowing.

We are transitioning from known into the unknown. Traditionally, rituals are performed in time of transition and change. An example of that might be from adolescent to adult. This process has been described as a dissolution of the old ways and coming into a new identity.

Our workshop will focus on the healing, guiding practices that will bring us into now through embodiment and intention setting. At the height of ritual you are connected to the now. There has to be a physiological practice (not just dialogue). What rituals do is they destabilize our normal way of looking at things and open us up into another way of knowing. We hope to share these practices with you for many new moon circles to come.

We hope you can join us for this community practice period where you are encouraged to bring your most comfortable, curiosity and open self. We will be guiding you through meditation, gentle breathing practices, and journeying.
